Senior Associate – Assurance (Remote) – Beirut

About the role

PwC Middle East is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Assurance Alternative Delivery Center as a Remote Team Member. You will support virtual client engagements for key regional clients, gaining exposure to the GCC market while delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Examine accounting records, supporting documents and tangible assets such as inventory or equipment.
• Ask formal and informal questions to client personnel to gather necessary information.
• Test internal controls and processes of the client organization.
• Research and understand industry‑specific information before each engagement.
• Communicate progress, risks, issues and variances to the engagement Manager or Partner in a timely manner.
• Take full ownership of external audit file completion and documentation.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with experience in external audit.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with managers, partners and client staff.
• Proactive attitude and accountability for delivering high‑quality work.
