Senior Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis (Beirut)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the production of a concise, decision‑oriented analytical brief on acute humanitarian needs in Lebanon. Based in Beirut, the role will synthesize multiple data sources to inform humanitarian prioritisation and donor allocations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and delivery of the country‑level acute needs analytical product, aligning with global schedules and IMPACT standards.
• Collect, review and consolidate secondary data from REACH assessments, UN agencies, INGOs and public datasets such as OCHA, FEWS NET and IPC.
• Assess data reliability, identify gaps and propose solutions to improve data quality.
• Conduct structured analysis using IMPACT’s analytical guidance and produce a short, high‑impact external brief.
• Collaborate with GIS, data management and design teams to integrate visual elements and ensure user‑centred outputs.
• Maintain stakeholder maps and networks at country level to enhance contextual understanding.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in humanitarian studies, data analysis, geography or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience analysing humanitarian or development data, preferably in crisis‑affected contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
