Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Plant (Senegal)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing operations in Senegal. This full‑time, on‑site position will oversee all general accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support cost‑control initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
• Prepare timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and inventory valuations.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial projection processes.
• Oversee cost accounting, product costing, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Dolphin accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling.
