Senior Accountant – Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate books, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia GAAP and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare error‑free accounting reports, financial statements, and budgets on schedule.
• Support statutory audits, tax filings, and internal/external audit processes.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end close, including forecast and financial standards setting.
• Review and improve accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the Chief Accountant and Accounting Manager to enhance financial processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience in a multinational setting, with at least 2 years in a similar senior accounting role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia GAAP, VAT, and payroll regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet month‑end and year‑end deadlines, and strong communication skills.
