Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the accounting function for a manufacturing organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Saudi Arabia GAAP and internal policies. You will work closely with the Chief Accountant and Accounting Manager to strengthen controls and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and present error‑free accounting reports, financial statements, and budgets.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including statutory audits and tax filings.
• Analyze financial data, identify errors, and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Review and enhance accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Guide and review the work of accounting staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience in a multinational environment, with at least 2 years in a similar senior role.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia GAAP, VAT, and payroll regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet month‑end and year‑end deadlines.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
