Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the daily accounting function, ensuring that all financial activities comply with internal policies and local regulations. This position plays a key role in producing accurate financial reports, managing payroll, and supporting budgeting and banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations in line with internal policies and Lebanese regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and periodic reporting packages.
• Oversee payroll processing, account reconciliations and expense reporting.
• Ensure timely filing of tax and government declarations such as NSSF and VAT.
• Support budgeting activities and banking transactions, including guarantees and letters of credit.
• Monitor account balances, identify discrepancies and report findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA or LICPA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local tax and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Advanced Excel skills within the Microsoft Office suite.
