Salesforce QA Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Our client, a leading fintech company, is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to join its remote team. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce configurations, automations, security settings, and integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Validate Salesforce configurations against business requirements across all environments.
• Test automation processes such as Flows, workflows, triggers, and Apex‑based automations to prevent regressions.
• Verify security settings—including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field‑level security—to ensure compliance with data access policies.
• Perform integration testing between Salesforce and third‑party systems/APIs, confirming data flow and system stability.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers and administrators to achieve resolution.
• Support release and deployment testing in sandbox and production environments.
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, and QA documentation for Salesforce projects.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of QA/testing experience within a Salesforce environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Salesforce configuration and automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Apex).
• Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules).
• Experience with integration testing and API‑based data exchanges.
• Familiarity with Salesforce testing tools and general QA methodologies (manual and/or automated testing).
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Platform App Builder (a plus).
