Sales Manager – Animal Feed & Supplements

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the market entry of a new agro‑feed additives and supplements company in Nigeria. The role will involve building a sustainable sales operation from the ground up, targeting feed mills, commercial farms and distributors across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market‑entry and sales strategy for Nigeria.
• Identify new markets, customer segments, distributors and strategic partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with feed mills, commercial farms, distributors, integrators and other industry stakeholders.
• Deliver revenue, market‑penetration and customer‑acquisition targets.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high‑performing sales team.
• Monitor customer needs, competitor activity, pricing and industry trends.
• Establish a reliable sales pipeline and provide accurate performance forecasts.
• Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings and technical presentations.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in Nigeria’s animal‑feed, feed‑additives, poultry or livestock sector.
• Strong network across the Nigerian feed and livestock value chain.
• Demonstrated success in opening new markets and growing sales territories.
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Target‑driven, entrepreneurial and hands‑on leadership style.
• Experience recruiting, coaching and managing sales teams.
• Commitment to long‑term career growth and sustainable business development.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Nigeria.
