Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will be based on‑site at World Heart Hotel in Baghdad and will be responsible for driving room and event sales. You will work closely with the reservations and operations teams to deliver seamless guest experiences while expanding the hotel’s corporate, travel and group client base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new sales leads for rooms and events.
• Conduct sales calls and meetings, prepare proposals and contracts.
• Maintain and grow relationships with corporate, travel and group clients.
• Coordinate with reservations and operations to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Monitor market trends and report on sales performance.
• Participate in promotional activities and attend industry events as needed.
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies that increase revenue and brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, business development or account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build long‑term client relationships and manage a sales pipeline.
• Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting and basic data analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of the regional hospitality market is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or additional languages advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
