Safeguarding & Code of Conduct (Prevention) Specialist

About the role

The Global Safeguarding & Code of Conduct (Prevention) Specialist will support DRC’s commitment to zero tolerance for fraud, corruption and safeguarding violations. Working closely with global safeguarding advisors and coordinators, the specialist will drive policy implementation, training, compliance monitoring and investigations across DRC’s operations in Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operationalisation of PSEAH and prevention measures, including design and rollout of the Management Action Tracking Tool.
• Monitor and follow‑up post‑case management action plans, coordinating with relevant entities to track progress.
• Analyse data trends from Reports of Suspected Misconduct and contribute to safeguarding compliance monitoring.
• Prepare performance briefs, reports and mitigation recommendations for senior leadership.
• Develop and deliver trainings, refreshers and onboarding sessions on the Code of Conduct and PSEAH.
• Maintain SharePoint libraries, visual assets and the Code of Conduct repository.
• Support investigations of serious allegations of SEAH, fraud and corruption, acting as Authorising Officer when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in safeguarding, protection or compliance within humanitarian settings.
• Strong understanding of PSEAH principles and prevention frameworks.
• Experience conducting investigations and managing case‑action plans.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
