Risk Manager

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join its Lebanon team. You will be responsible for implementing the Group Enterprise Risk Management Framework and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Group ERM framework at CFI Lebanon, aligning with Group standards and local regulations.
• Conduct risk management across market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk.
• Ensure compliance with BDL and CMA requirements, including accurate regulatory reporting.
• Monitor KRIs, track risk profile versus Group risk appetite, and coordinate RCSA with risk and process owners.
• Perform stress testing, scenario analysis, and manage risk incidents from identification to remediation.
• Prepare risk reports for the Board, management committees, and Group Risk.
• Collaborate with Head of Risk, Group Risk, compliance, legal, and other functions on governance and emerging risks.
• Contribute to the development of risk policies, procedures, and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Banking (Master’s a plus).
• 5+ years of risk management experience in the Lebanese banking/financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of BDL and CMA regulations.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• COSO ERM knowledge.
• FRM or CFA certification is an advantage.
