Registered Pharmacist

About the role

Sami Pharmacy is seeking a responsible and experienced pharmacist to join its PM team in Beirut. The role goes beyond dispensing medication, requiring ownership of daily operations, support for the team, and ensuring a smooth, professional workflow throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide professional pharmaceutical counseling.
• Maintain safe, ethical, and compliant pharmacy practice.
• Organize and sustain an efficient workflow during the shift.
• Proactively resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Guide and support assistant pharmacists and other team members.
• Deliver high standards of patient care and customer service.
• Handle product management, expiry monitoring, and FEFO practices.
• Assist with stock replenishment and report discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy SOPs, policies, and operational standards.
• Address customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Facilitate clear communication and handover between shifts.
• Contribute to responsible OTC recommendations, upselling, and overall pharmacy performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Valid authorization to practice pharmacy in Lebanon.
• Previous community/retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong pharmaceutical and OTC product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Initiative‑driven, responsible, and team‑oriented with leadership qualities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
• Availability for PM shifts.
