Python Developer – Crypto & Blockchain

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our fast‑growing crypto and online‑trading team. You will help design and build secure, high‑performance backend services that power cryptocurrency trading, custody and risk‑management platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable backend solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain APIs and services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Implement secure integrations with blockchain networks, crypto exchanges and digital wallets.
• Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews and continuously refactor for performance and security.
• Maintain relational databases, optimise SQL queries and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in architecture discussions, present technical designs to senior leadership and contribute to technical documentation.
• Support deployment pipelines and monitor production systems for reliability.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience developing backend applications in Python.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL optimisation.
• Previous involvement in cryptocurrency or blockchain projects, understanding of wallets, transactions and exchange APIs.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
