PYP Early Years Head

About the role
The Early Years Head (EYH) provides pedagogical leadership for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) within an early childhood setting. Reporting to senior school leadership, the EYH ensures high‑quality, student‑centered learning and the wellbeing of both students and faculty.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, assessment and documentation of the IB PYP curriculum for early years.
- Maintain and continuously improve student‑centered learning and agency in line with Wellspring’s vision.
- Oversee the welfare and wellbeing of early years students and staff.
- Ensure consistent implementation of the IB PYP framework across all early years classrooms.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop rigorous teaching and learning practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in an early years or primary education setting.
- Strong knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
