About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and mentorship to diverse learners.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in the field of special education.

• Contribute to departmental and university committees.
• Engage in community outreach related to special education and stay current with field developments.

Required profile

• PhD or EdD in Special Education or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in special education methodologies, inclusive education, and evidence‑based instructional strategies.
• Proven university‑level teaching experience, including course design and student mentorship.
• Record of research, publications, or scholarly activity in special education.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural competencies.
• Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching tools.
• Experience supervising practicum or field placements (preferred).
• Commitment to ethical practices, academic integrity, and community engagement.
