Product Manager – Quant Research Platform

About the role

Edgebot is building AlphaLab, an agentic quant research platform that gives systematic traders, quant researchers, and prop desks enterprise‑grade infrastructure. As a Product Manager you will own the product surface between the research engine and its users, shaping the roadmap and delivering high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for one or more core surfaces (EdgeCore, AlphaMind, Research Agents, or Academy).
• Translate ambiguous research problems into clear specifications that engineers can build against.
• Run discovery sessions with quants and early‑stage users, turning insights into product decisions.
• Define success metrics, instrument them, and hold the product accountable to those targets.
• Write clear product documentation: PRDs, changelogs, positioning notes, and internal decision docs.
• Collaborate daily with the CEO on prioritisation and with engineering on execution.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably on technical or developer‑facing products.
• Exceptional written communication; the team makes decisions through documents.
• Technical depth sufficient to read schemas, question architecture, and ship features with minimal hand‑holding.
• Bias toward small, fast, reversible decisions.

Required skills

• Product management expertise for technical products.
• Ability to work with quantitative finance concepts such as backtesting, signal research, risk, and execution (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AI or LLM‑based products (nice to have).
• Experience taking early‑stage products from zero to first revenue (nice to have).
