Product Manager, AI & Predictive Analytics

About the role

Liaison, which has supported higher education institutions for three decades (CAS, EMP, SlideRoom, Time2Track, TargetX, Othot), is hiring a Product Manager for the Othot platform. The role defines and advances AI, analytics and data-driven product capabilities, turning customer needs and market opportunities into clear product requirements and experiences for colleges and universities. It works closely with Data Science, Engineering, UX and client-facing teams, managing priorities from discovery through launch and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap for AI, analytics and agentic capabilities, including AI-driven recommendations, conversational interfaces, workflow automation and student- and institution-level insights.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering and client teams to turn predictive and prescriptive model outputs into usable, explainable features.
• Gather and analyze customer, market and user insights to validate opportunities and set priorities.
• Translate business, customer and technical requirements into product specifications and development priorities.
• Work with UX/UI teams on requirements and give feedback during design and development.
• Define success metrics and monitor usage, adoption and usability trends.
• Support processes that move AI capabilities from concept through validation and release.
• Create customer-facing documentation, release notes, training materials, demos and other adoption resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in a data-intensive, analytics-driven or SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated experience launching software products or features with AI/ML capabilities, including AI-driven or agentic workflows.
• Strong ability to turn complex AI/ML concepts into clear product requirements and value propositions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting and demonstrating products internally and externally.
• Background in machine learning or predictive modeling strongly preferred; higher education or EdTech experience preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with modeling concepts and interpreting machine learning model outputs.
• Experience with BI or analytics tools and data-informed product decisions preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile and tools such as Jira; beta testing or customer co-design experience preferred.
