About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum and support students in achieving their full potential. The role involves planning, delivering, and evaluating PE lessons while fostering an active lifestyle among learners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed lesson plans and reflect on daily teaching outcomes, with reviews by the Head of Department.
• Deliver lessons following the SABIS® Physical Education Curriculum and Point System®.
• Design and implement drills, activities, and training programs for student competitions, including written practice plans and performance tracking.
• Judge inter‑school competitions and Saturday activities on campus.
• Maintain and organize sports equipment, ensuring proper set‑up and storage.
• Complete required documentation such as accident forms, SLO® records, and training logs.
• Enforce classroom discipline, report infractions, and file incident reports when necessary.
• Participate actively in extracurricular programs and promote an active lifestyle.
• Hold a current lifesaving certificate to teach swimming.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Head of Department to discuss issues and concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Competence with MS Office applications.
