About the role
Dar Al Ajaza Hospital in Beirut is hiring a full-time on-site Pharmacy Assistant. The role supports daily pharmacy operations, working closely with patients, families and healthcare staff while following medical and safety protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and label prescriptions
- Manage pharmacy inventory
- Assist with patient service
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- Ensure adherence to medical and safety protocols
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and safe handling of medications
- Ability to process and review prescription information accurately under supervision
- Inventory management skills, including tracking stock, rotating supplies and supporting timely ordering
- Customer service and phone etiquette
- Attention to detail, reliability and ability to follow procedures and regulations
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic or community pharmacy is preferred
