Part‑Time Faculty Position in Computer Science

About the role
The Department of Computer Science & Mathematics at the Lebanese American University seeks qualified part‑time faculty to teach undergraduate courses on its Beirut and/or Byblos campuses starting Spring 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Teach assigned undergraduate courses and labs covering topics such as AI, data science, cybersecurity, and programming.
- Advise and mentor students, and contribute to departmental needs as required.
Required profile
- Minimum an MS in Computer Science (PhD preferred) and higher‑education teaching experience or extensive industry experience.
- Experience teaching one or more of the listed courses is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Data Science and statistical analysis (including R programming)
- Cybersecurity fundamentals and penetration testing
- Deep Learning applications
- Software development and secure engineering practices
