Partnerships Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term – Beirut

About the role

The Partnerships Manager (P‑4) will report directly to the UNICEF Representative in Beirut and will be responsible for strengthening UNICEF’s collaboration with key partners across the MENA region. The role focuses on environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilisation and policy influence to raise UNICEF’s visibility and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with UNICEF’s mission and regional priorities.
• Identify, negotiate and broker resource‑mobilisation agreements with donors, NGOs, private sector and government entities.
• Provide strategic advice and support to senior management on partnership policy and design.
• Lead a team of staff, set performance objectives, monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of results.
• Conduct environmental scanning and knowledge‑exchange activities to inform partnership decisions.
• Represent UNICEF in high‑level meetings, forums and advocacy events.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in partnership development and resource mobilisation, preferably in an international NGO or UN context.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and supervise multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of influencing policy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
