NOC Specialist – Network Operations Center Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated NOC Specialist to join our Network Operations Center team. The role focuses on monitoring network and infrastructure systems, responding to alerts, and ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of critical IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor networks, servers, applications and infrastructure using NMS and monitoring tools.
• Identify, investigate and respond to alerts and incidents, performing first‑level troubleshooting within defined SLAs.
• Escalate complex or critical incidents to appropriate network, system, security or engineering teams.
• Track network availability, performance, bandwidth utilization, latency and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, router and switch issues and perform basic device configuration when required.
• Create, update and maintain incident and service tickets with accurate troubleshooting information.
• Follow incident, escalation and change management procedures and communicate clearly with internal teams, customers and service providers.
• Conduct routine health checks, analyze logs and alerts, and participate in planned maintenance and scheduled changes.
• Prepare operational, incident and monitoring documentation and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in on‑call or rotational shift coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Networking or a related field.
• Previous experience in a NOC, network support, IT operations or technical support role is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple incidents and adapt to rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
