Network Administrator

About the role

GlobeMed Group, the largest Healthcare Benefits Management company in the MENA region, is seeking a Network Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of its voice and data network. The role involves designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures while providing high‑level technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain and support LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures across all branches.
• Implement and maintain network and security systems to meet current and future organizational requirements.
• Identify and propose solutions for performance and scalability challenges within the network.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date high‑level and low‑level design documentation for logical and physical network architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues, including Internet, VPN and connectivity problems.
• Proactively schedule, perform and monitor network and security infrastructure maintenance, upgrades and repairs.
• Monitor enterprise network performance and produce routine utilization and statistical reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Communication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with network and security components.
• CCNP Security and CCNP Routing & Switching certifications are a plus.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve Internet, network and VPN connectivity issues.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of TCP/IP, internal and external routing protocols.
• Expertise with LAN technologies such as VLANs, VTP, STP.
• Proficiency in VoIP, WAN, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with application protocols: DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NTP, TACACS+.
• Experience with network performance monitoring and statistical reporting.
