Motion Animation Expert (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

A Lebanese-only freelance Motion Animation Expert is sought to work on a project basis with a team, collaborating with content and marketing teams to turn ideas, scripts and static visuals into engaging animated content. The work is remote, and the position may lead to a long-term freelance collaboration based on performance and project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create polished motion graphics and animations for digital marketing, social media, promotional campaigns and other content initiatives.
• Turn concepts, scripts, storyboards and static visuals into clear, dynamic animations.
• Produce platform-optimized animations and short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and similar channels.
• Work with content and marketing teams to understand objectives, share creative ideas and turn briefs into visual content.
• Keep animations aligned with brand identity, guidelines and messaging.
• Maintain high standards in quality, composition, pacing, transitions, typography and visual presentation.
• Manage tasks independently, give progress updates, incorporate feedback and deliver on time.
• Stay up to date with motion design trends, animation techniques and digital content formats.

Required profile

• Proven experience in motion design, animation and motion graphics.
• Strong understanding of animation principles such as timing, transitions, movement, composition, visual hierarchy and storytelling.
• Ability to translate briefs, scripts and references into high-quality animated content.
• Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and willingness to receive feedback and revise work.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant motion design and animation work; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects or comparable professional animation software.
• Preferred: experience with SaaS, technology or B2B clients, and with explaining technical concepts, software products or complex workflows through animation.
• Preferred: familiarity with short-form video and social media content, and experience with promotional videos, product explainers, educational animations or marketing motion graphics.
