Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

About the role

The International Services & Programs Office is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist to lead M&E activities across all ISP‑related grants, including MEPI‑funded Tomorrow’s Leaders awards and the HES cooperative agreement. The role is based primarily on the Beirut campus with occasional travel to the Byblos campus.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks and monitoring plans for each award cycle.
• Design and manage surveys, data‑collection tools, and KPI reporting, ensuring data quality and alignment with donor requirements.
• Coordinate with the Department of Institutional Research and Analytics, award directors, and the Grants Manager to produce periodic and final reports.
• Train staff on M&E expectations, conduct field‑based monitoring, and respond to donor data calls.
• Maintain Results Monitoring Plans, track indicator disaggregation, and conduct longitudinal studies of scholarship outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Demography, Development Studies, or a related social science.
• Minimum 5 years of continuous M&E experience, including at least 3 years of data research, collection, analysis, and presentation.
• Strong familiarity with M&E principles, donor expectations, and tools such as the Kirkpatrick model.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using online survey platforms.
