Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Officer will support Berytech’s portfolio of programs by ensuring robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning processes. The role involves data collection, analysis, reporting and contributing to the development of a Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and reporting activities, including field office planning and donor reporting.
• Develop and maintain indicator lists and user‑friendly databases for each project.
• Design data collection tools, conduct field visits, and verify the accuracy and timeliness of data.
• Perform data quality assessments, cleaning, validation, and quantitative/qualitative analysis.
• Prepare visual reports, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders.
• Support the creation and refinement of Berytech’s Quality Management procedures.
• Identify capacity gaps and deliver training on MEL topics to staff and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience designing and implementing M&E activities for donor‑funded projects.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
