Member & Client Relationship Officer

About the role

The Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM) is looking for a Member & Client Relationship Officer to help grow its membership base and strengthen engagement with existing members, sponsors and partners. This early‑career position combines relationship management, business development, and support for sponsorship initiatives within the regional capital‑markets ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, prospective members, sponsors and partners, ensuring timely follow‑up and high‑quality service.
• Conduct regular check‑ins with members to capture needs, feedback and opportunities for deeper involvement in AFCM programs, events and research.
• Maintain and update membership, stakeholder and contact databases, and produce internal reports on engagement trends.
• Identify and outreach to potential new members across exchanges, clearing houses, brokers, banks, asset managers, fintech firms and technology providers.
• Prepare outreach materials, proposals and presentations, and manage a structured pipeline of prospects.
• Support onboarding of new members and coordinate their introduction to AFCM activities.
• Research and approach companies for sponsorship and partnership opportunities for AFCM events and publications.
