Mechanical Technician

About the role

A full-time, on-site Mechanical Technician position based in Zouk Mosbeh. The role keeps production equipment, machinery and utilities running safely and efficiently through routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns and carrying out timely repairs to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery and utilities
• Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot breakdowns and repair them promptly
• Monitor equipment performance
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines
• Update maintenance records and reports
• Work closely with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement, safety standards and internal maintenance procedures

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance or a related field
• Strong background in equipment maintenance and maintenance and repair in industrial or food manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance planning to reduce equipment failures and downtime
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial settings
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and teamwork
