Mechanical Design Engineer – Machine Design & Development

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the creation and modification of stainless‑steel machines for the food and beverage sector. You will be responsible for turning concepts into fully engineered equipment that meets our high standards for quality and manufacturability.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete machines from scratch or adapt existing equipment.
• Lead the design process from initial concept through to production.
• Create detailed 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Prepare accurate 2D fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Generate comprehensive parts lists (BOQs) for manufacturing.
• Optimize designs for in‑house production using raw materials.
• Oversee welding and fabrication considerations to ensure assembly accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in stainless‑steel equipment.
• Ability to manage the full design lifecycle independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to manufacturing efficiency.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (3D modeling and assembly).
• 2D drafting for fabrication.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
• Understanding of machine design for food and beverage applications.
