Mathematics Teacher – UAE

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join its faculty in the United Arab Emirates. You will deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a positive learning environment. This role involves both classroom instruction and participation in broader school activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics lessons using provided lesson plans or develop plans aligned with SABIS® pacing charts.
• Mark examinations and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss student disciplinary and academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain an effective classroom atmosphere.
• Proctor exams, ensuring a well‑managed testing environment.
• Provide targeted support and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and structured revision schedules where applicable.
• Perform additional duties such as supervising lunches, buses, crowd control, and other administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities, including art events, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system and improve student outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and professional conduct.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management abilities.
