Managed Services Design Engineer (Network & Security)

About the role

The Managed Services Design Engineer (Network & Security) will create and standardise network and security solutions for our managed‑services portfolio. Working closely with pre‑sales and implementation teams, you will translate customer requirements into robust firewall architectures, secure access designs and detailed documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design network and security solutions based on customer requirements.
• Develop firewall architectures, including access control, VPN, and segmentation.
• Support pre‑sales activities by preparing technical proposals and participating in customer discussions.
• Prepare high‑level and low‑level design documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Ensure smooth hand‑over of designs to implementation and operations teams.
• Contribute to service standardisation and reusable design templates.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of IP networking (routing, switching, TCP/IP).
• Understanding of network security fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, access control).
• Basic knowledge of secure access concepts such as ZTNA and SASE.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto or Cisco Security).
