Maintenance Manager

About the role

Join our manufacturing team as a Maintenance Manager, responsible for driving the factory asset maintenance programme to eliminate unplanned stops, optimise costs and boost asset intensity. You will lead a team of technicians, develop their competencies and implement projects that enhance overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure timely execution of planned maintenance activities, maintaining high quality standards.
• Support and participate in the implementation of maintenance methodologies (PM pillar) and coach breakdown analysis.
• Ensure effective use of the AMM system across the maintenance team.
• Contribute to the annual maintenance budget, identify cost‑saving opportunities and propose corrective actions for over/under‑spending.
• Lead competence‑building initiatives, delivering technical training and fostering AMM expertise within engineering.
• Provide production support by applying AM pillar methodologies to reduce quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues.
• Support the implementation and adherence to applicable standards within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering management role, preferably in FMCG manufacturing.
• Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical) or equivalent technical college qualification with solid practical experience.
• Strong communication and team‑organisation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and internet research.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
