Laundry Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Laundry Manager oversees all laundry operations within a hotel that is part of the Accor network. You will ensure efficient daily and long‑term processes, maintain high hygiene standards, and support the overall guest experience through quality linen and laundry services.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily and strategic laundry activities, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Develop and maintain a continuous training program for laundry staff.
• Create, document, and update standard operating procedures for new tasks.
• Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper to align laundry needs, especially during peak occupancy.
• Work with the Food & Beverage Manager to guarantee adequate linen supplies and proper presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of linen quality, guest laundry, and dry‑cleaning services.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment, preparing maintenance requisitions as needed.
• Manage inventory of laundry and dry‑cleaning supplies, checking incoming orders.
• Prepare operational reports and monthly performance summaries for the Executive Housekeeper.
• Stay informed on new laundry products, systems, and equipment for continuous improvement.
• Schedule staff rosters based on projected occupancy and business activity.
• Ensure accurate billing, paperwork processing, and record‑keeping of items sent for laundering.
• Assist in evaluating staff attendance and performance.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar laundry management role.
• Good oral proficiency in English.
• Solid understanding of hygiene standards and laundry operational procedures.
• Experience with the Opera property management system or a similar platform.
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
