Kitchen Designer & Estimator (2020 Design)

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is looking for an experienced Kitchen Designer & Estimator to join a remote team that serves US‑based customers. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with hands‑on estimating expertise, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed kitchen designs using 2020 Design Flex or Live software.
• Prepare accurate quotes and cost estimates for clients.
• Price out materials, cabinetry, hardware, and related components.
• Collaborate with clients, sales staff, and production teams to align designs with budgets and timelines.
• Understand the full kitchen project lifecycle from concept through completion.
• Revise drawings and estimates based on client feedback or project changes.
• Maintain organized project documentation and design files.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of kitchen design and estimating experience with US customers.
• Background working for a kitchen company on residential projects.
• Proven ability to prepare client quotes, estimates, and pricing breakdowns.
• Strong proficiency with 2020 Design (Flex or Live).
• Solid understanding of kitchen construction, cabinetry, and installation workflow.
• English proficiency at C1 level (verbal and written).
• Availability to work during US Eastern Time business hours.
• Experience in client‑facing interactions and coordination with internal sales and production teams.
• Portfolio showcasing previous kitchen design and estimating work.
