Junior Translator / Interpreter (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is building a pool of Junior Non-Key Experts to support the EU’s communication outreach across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. As a Junior Translator / Interpreter you will provide on‑demand translation and interpretation services for a 36‑month project, helping to convey EU policies and initiatives to diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Translate communication materials, reports, publications, presentations and other institutional documents.
• Provide interpretation services during meetings, workshops, conferences, webinars and stakeholder consultations.
• Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency and cultural appropriateness of all translated content.
• Support the preparation and review of multilingual communication materials.
• Collaborate with communication teams to deliver clear messaging to target audiences.
• Assist with terminology management and maintain consistency across project documentation.
• Support multilingual communication during project events and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Degree in translation/interpretation or an equivalent qualification.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in the target language and fluent English.
• At least 2 years of general translation/interpretation experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience translating communication or institutional content.
