Junior Logistics Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Logistics Officer to join our FMCG company. The ideal candidate will support logistics operations including shipment coordination, inventory management, and documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking domestic and international shipments.
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
• Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, and warehouse teams to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock monitoring and control.
• Support procurement activities by following up on orders and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all logistics documents are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
• Prepare periodic logistics and shipment reports for management review.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments (procurement, sales, and operations).
• Assist in resolving logistics issues or shipment discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain roles.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems (or willingness to learn).
