Junior Land Surveyor

About the role

Aylo Engineering is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Land Surveyor to join its surveying team in Cornet Chahwan, Lebanon. You will support senior surveyors in field surveys, collect precise measurements, and document geographic data using modern equipment and software. This position offers a solid foundation to develop technical surveying skills while contributing to infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys with theodolites, GPS receivers, and total stations.
• Collect, record, and organize survey data with meticulous attention to detail.
• Assist senior surveyors in planning and executing survey projects.
• Prepare sketches, notes, and preliminary reports based on field observations.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment to ensure functionality and accuracy.
• Input survey data into surveying software and CAD programs for analysis and mapping.
• Read, interpret, and verify maps, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and clients to meet objectives.
• Perform quality checks on collected data.

Required profile

• Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Driving licence is mandatory.
• Strong documentation and record‑keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with surveying instruments: theodolite, GPS receivers, total station.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and maps.
• Experience with surveying software and CAD programs (e.g., AutoCAD) – preferred.
• Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software – preferred.
• Valid driving licence.
