Junior Accountant – On-site in Senegal

About the role

Twellium Industrial Company Limited is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance team at its Senegal facility. This full-time, on-site position supports day-to-day accounting operations, assists with month-end close, and helps maintain accurate financial records. The role offers the opportunity to develop accounting expertise while working in a dynamic beverage and food production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to record all business transactions.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock inflows and outflows.
• Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing and sales to maintain optimal warehouse stock levels.
• Update accounts receivable, issue invoices and follow up on payments.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements in line with legal and company guidelines.
• Enter financial data into databases ensuring accuracy and timely availability.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants during monthly and yearly closing processes.
• Contribute to other accounting projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of experience as a junior accountant or accounting assistant.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Ability to work in French (mandatory).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Familiarity with accounting software.
