Junior Accountant – On-site (Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join Twellium Industrial Company Limited’s finance team in Ghana. This full‑time, on‑site position supports day‑to‑day accounting operations, month‑end close and financial reporting for our beverage and bakery manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post journal entries and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, calculate depreciation and ensure accurate asset accounting.
• Perform bank, supplier and inter‑company reconciliations and prepare balance‑sheet schedules.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, including checklist execution, cut‑off procedures and compilation of P&L and balance‑sheet data.
• Support audit preparation, documentation archiving and respond to audit queries.
• Identify automation opportunities, test ERP enhancements and collaborate with procurement, operations and the Finance Centre of Excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS or Ghana GAAP.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
