IT Support Technician – Hospital

About the role

Notre Dame des Secours University Hospital is seeking an IT Support Technician to ensure the reliability of its technology infrastructure. You will provide first‑ and second‑level assistance to clinical and administrative staff, helping them use hardware, software, and network resources effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level technical support to end‑users via phone, email, or in‑person.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and network devices.
• Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Assist with user account creation, access requests, and permission changes.
• Monitor, log, and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and related documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or help‑desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking basics, and computer hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Discretion in handling sensitive patient and hospital information.
