About the role
The Inventory Control Officer ensures the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of inventory records across the organization. Working closely with warehouse, production, operations and finance teams, the role monitors transactions, performs reconciliations and supports inventory valuation.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments and returns.
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventories and spot checks to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies, reconcile physical stock with ERP records and support month‑end closing.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc inventory reports and analyse slow‑moving or excess stock.
- Create and maintain item master data and Bills of Materials within the ERP system.
- Support inventory valuation, costing activities and assist finance during cost reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, inventory accounting or warehouse operations.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Hands‑on experience with an ERP system.
