Internal Audit Associate (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Audit Associate to join Azadea Group’s internal audit team. The role supports field work, data analysis and reporting to help ensure robust internal controls across our retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Compose comprehensive audit test segments and reports in line with audit principles and standards.
• Prepare internal communications, spreadsheets, matrices and related documentation.
• Follow up on audit issues and outstanding tasks to ensure timely resolution.
• Identify, investigate and correct data errors to maintain information accuracy.
• Coordinate with relevant staff and departments to extract and analyse necessary data.
• Monitor the precision, timeliness and relevance of financial and internal‑control information delivered to audit management.
• Collaborate with audit team members to conduct fieldwork audits and identify project risks.
• Contribute to work‑plan development, including risk assessment and audit program design.
• Prepare presentations on risk, internal control and audit topics as needed.
• Maintain working papers that adequately document performed procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role; retail experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to pursue a professional qualification (CIA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
