Information Management Officer

About the role

The Information Management Officer will support evidence‑based decision‑making by collecting, managing and analysing programme data. Working under the MEAL‑Information Management Specialist, the officer will ensure data quality, standardisation and accessibility across field teams and head‑office platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise IM solutions, including dashboards and digital data collection tools.
• Translate questionnaires into Survey123, KoboToolbox or CommCare forms and ensure their consistent use.
• Maintain data backups, secure storage and compliance with organisational policies.
• Create geographical maps and visualisations to monitor project implementation.
• Provide rapid IM support during emergency responses, setting up real‑time data systems.
• Collaborate with MEAL, programme and quality teams to analyse trends and produce actionable insights.

Required profile

• Experience in information management, data collection and analysis within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation and learning processes.
• Ability to work closely with field teams, programme staff and senior managers.
• Understanding of child safeguarding requirements (Level 3 contact).
