Industrial Laboratory Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Industrial Laboratory Associate will work on‑site at Stork’s Zouk Mosbeh facility, conducting routine tests on raw materials, in‑process samples and finished food and beverage products. The role supports the company’s commitment to quality, safety and regulatory compliance by delivering accurate laboratory results.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and condition samples for chemical, microbiological and physical analysis.
• Operate, calibrate and perform basic maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Record, interpret and report test data, highlighting any deviations from specifications.
• Assist quality‑control investigations and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment and manage consumables and reagents.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve testing methods.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in a food‑ or beverage‑industry laboratory.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to work in a fast‑paced production setting.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Equipment setup, calibration, basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Analytical data interpretation and documentation.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO and GMP standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office for data recording and reporting.
