Individual Contractor on Financing for Development (Data Analysis)

About the role

This position is an individual contractor role focused on financing for development through data analysis. The contractor will contribute substantively to econometric models used in the GUARD tool and produce policy‑relevant analytical outputs that support project deliverables such as technical papers and policy briefs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine econometric models within the GUARD analytical framework.
• Generate findings and analytical outputs that inform policy recommendations.
• Update, maintain, and ensure the integrity of electronic data files used for analysis.
• Collaborate with project teams to align analytical work with overall project objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in econometric modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Strong background in financing for development or related economic research.
• Ability to produce clear, policy‑oriented analytical reports.
• Excellent attention to detail when handling data sets.
