Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor who is focused on delivering extraordinary guest service. In this role you will lead a team of Housekeeping Attendants, ensuring the hotel’s cleanliness standards and operational objectives are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily job assignments for Housekeeping Attendants and issue keys and supplies.
• Monitor VIP, Do Not Disturb, Sleep‑Out, and double‑lock rooms and take appropriate actions.
• Attend daily briefings, receive special instructions, and manage check‑outs before rooms are marked vacant.
• Handle guest special requests and ensure timely execution.
• Inspect cleaned areas using checklists, verify room supplies, and report immediate repairs.
• Complete reports and forward found items to Lost & Found.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells.
• Train and support Housekeeping Attendants, providing performance feedback to superiors.
• Assist with inventory control and ensure proper handling and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
• Previous supervisory experience within a hotel housekeeping department.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Experience with Opera hotel PMS (advantageous).
