Hearing Aid Technical & Service Assistant

About the role

We are a family‑run business seeking a reliable and organised individual to manage the day‑to‑day operations of our hearing‑aid laboratory and stock. The role combines practical hands‑on work with inventory control, ensuring that our technicians and clients always have the equipment they need.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, organise, and track incoming stock and components.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare orders for replenishment.
• Clean hearing‑aid devices and perform routine maintenance.
• Carry out basic technical repairs and troubleshooting of hearing aids.
• Assist with laboratory work involving earmolds, accessories and related equipment.
• Keep the laboratory, work areas and equipment clean, organised and functional.
• Prepare items for clients, technicians or deliveries and support occasional pick‑up or drop‑off tasks.

Required profile

• Meticulous, practical and resourceful with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of lab and stock organisation.
• Reliable transportation (car or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Willingness to be flexible and help wherever needed.

Required skills

• Stock and inventory management.
• Hearing‑aid cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Basic technical repairs and troubleshooting of hearing‑aid devices.
• Experience with audiology equipment, electronics or small‑scale laboratory work (advantageous).
