Health System Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Finance, Health System Department seeks a senior finance leader to support health services across Lebanon and internationally. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance, the Health System CFO will guide financial strategy, planning, and execution for the Integrated Health System.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the VP Finance and EVP Health Services to advise senior leadership on strategic decisions, capital investments, and long‑term financial sustainability.
• Develop and implement the Integrated Health System’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with university mission and regulatory requirements.
• Provide forward‑looking financial analysis, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk modeling for executive and board decisions.
• Optimize pricing standards and models across specialties, maintain up‑to‑date price lists, and support revenue cycle management.
• Negotiate tariffs, pricing models, and contract terms with insurers, TPAs, and government payers.
• Oversee charge capture accuracy, denial management, and appeals to maximize net revenue while ensuring compliance.
