Hardware Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Hardware Design Engineer to own the design of key subsystems from schematic capture through prototype bring‑up and validation. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers on architecture and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and verify schematics for power, analog, and digital circuits.
• Drive PCB layout, define constraints, and review routing for signal and power integrity.
• Lead subsystem bring‑up, perform root‑cause analysis, and close corrective actions.
• Create, execute, and document validation and qualification test plans.
• Support EMC and ESD pre‑scan activities and prepare designs for certification.
• Release BOMs, fabrication/assembly packages, and test documentation; work with manufacturing on DFM/DFT feedback.
• Collaborate with firmware teams on hardware‑software integration, performance tuning, and debugging.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience designing board‑level products, with at least one product taken from schematic to production.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting measurements and results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
• Solid analog and digital circuit design fundamentals, including switching power supplies.
• Lab debugging using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART).
• Simulation/modeling with LTspice or MATLAB.
• Experience with EMC/EMI design and familiarity with IEC, UL, or EN standards.
• Version control (Git) and issue tracking (Jira).
