Grants Administration and Reporting Manager

About the role

The Grants Administration and Reporting Manager ensures compliance with donor regulations, prepares regular and ad‑hoc reports, and supports the development of high‑quality communication products for internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and analyse program data to meet internal, donor and sector reporting deadlines.
• Develop concept notes, full proposals, modification requests and supporting documents.
• Monitor grant budgets, performance and burn rates, and assist senior management with budget vs actual reviews.
• Maintain a comprehensive grants filing system and conduct regular contract performance reviews.
• Support donor relations, represent the mission at donor meetings and ensure timely donor reporting.
• Develop standard reporting templates, tools and communication products such as maps, case studies and infographics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business administration, international development or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years with an international humanitarian organization.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities, with experience in high‑pressure, insecure environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and travel extensively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with donor policies and reporting requirements (e.g., USAID, UN, ECHO).
